In the light of recent events: Warning of Mexican Expo Guide and Slovakian Fair Guide!

Several eroFame exhibitors have reported that they were approached by a Mexican company named Expo Guide S.C. and/or a Slovakian company called Construct Data Publishers, both of which claim to be putting together an exhibitor’s list for this year’s eroFame in Hanover. The Mexican company and the Slovakian company (maybe it is the same company that is now operating from Slovakia) ask exhibitors to give certain company data on the pretext of including them in the exhibitors’ list. We strongly advise all our eroFame participants not to consent to the publication of these data or to agree to the offer at all. The fine print of the faxes sent by Expo Guide and Construct Data Publishers reveals that agreeing to this offer obligates the signee to a three-year subscription to ad placements on an online platform, amounting to 1271 euro per annum. The official eroFame 2012 event catalogue is published by Mediatainment Publishing Verlags GmbH and no one else. We have no business relationship whatsoever with Expo Guide or Construct Data Pulblishers. Neither Expo Guide S. C., nor Construct Data Publishers has been authorized or commissioned to create an exhibitors’ list. We distance ourselves from this offer. The number of rip-off attempts is increasing, and unfortunately, this seems to be one of them. After counsel with our lawyers, we advise our exhibitors not to sign anything sent to you by the companies mentioned above. Anybody who already has signed the Expo Guide writ, should immediately contest that contract on grounds of fraudulent deception. If you have further questions, please get in touch with us.
