As ETO was going to press it emerged that a new, free to attend, trade-only event ist going to be staged in Berlin, Germany, this year at the same time as Venus.
The new show, eroFame, ist sponsored by some of Europe´s largest adult companies, including Scala Playhouse, ZBF, Orion, Pjur, ST Rubber and Joydivision, in conjuction with German trade publications eLine and EAN.
The show will be taking place at a venue close to the centre of Berlin from 20th - 22nd October (Venus runs from 21st - 24th October) and it will mean that none of eroFame´s sponsoring companies will be attending Venus this year. "At least 40" other exhibitors are expected to also attend eroFame, which the organisers hope will become an annual event.
Scala´s Clive Gore told ETO: "We, along with the other companies, are setting up the new show in Berlin an we expect it to be ab big success. It means that we won´t be going to Venus this year - everyone has to look at their costs and Venus is a very expensive exhibition to do, and it takes place over more days than we require. By running the new show at the same time as Venus, visitors can choose to attend both events if they want to." Gore continued: "We are all very excited about the new show and I hope it turns out to be as successful for us as the ETO Show." Further information about the new event can be found at www.erofame.eu
